The front wheels can to be locked in a forward position or pivot. This is useful when navigating rough terrain. While walking through the stony trail, we let them swivel and it did this quite well, though it did appear more bumpy than the other models on test.

Baby Jogger is most famous for its three-wheeled, all-terrain strollers for jogging. However, they also make a broad variety of pushchairs that have four wheels. City Tour 2 is their most loved model. It is easy to fold and can fit in the car's boot even with the carrycot attached.

It is heavier than the other strollers we've tested, but because it has composite wheels made of rubber it feels sturdy and well-constructed. It maneuvers expertly across different types of terrain. It's easy to carry, even when loaded with two kids and a shopping bag.

Both the seat and the carrycot come with hoods that can be removed to reveal a UV50and sun canopy extensions. They are durable and waterproof, in contrast to other hoods for prams, which can be blown back into toddlers' faces.

It does not have much storage space but it has an ample basket that is deep enough to accommodate a changing bag or a large amount of groceries. You can also connect it with a Baby Jogger infant car seat to create a traveling system for babies up to 20 pounds (car seat and adapters are sold separately). If you need a stroller that can be taken on the road, the City Tour 2 is an ideal choice.
